47th Annual Photography Regional Show Online Registration

Here’s the Open Call for Entries for the 47th Annual Photography Regional Show! Deadline to register online is Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Noon. You can also register in-person during drop-off. Read below for more information.

The 47th Annual Photography Regional Show will be held at Albany Center Gallery from Friday, September 4 through Saturday, October 31, 2026. The exhibition will simultaneously have both a Salon Show that will include all submissions as well as a Select Show that will be juried by Nick Argyros and Cindy Schultz. An Artists’ Reception will be hosted on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 5 - 8 p.m., with an awards ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m. $1,000+ in cash and prizes will be awarded to select works!

About the Photo Regional:

Since the late 1970s, artists within a 125-mile radius of Albany have entered for an opportunity to have their work picked by prestigious jurors for the Annual Photography Regional exhibition. This is an annual rotating exhibition and ACG hosts this as a salon-style exhibit every 3 years. Prizes will be awarded at the Artists’ Reception.

Guidelines:

• All works must have been completed within the past 5 years to be eligible to exhibit. 
• Artists must reside within a 125-mile radius of New York's Capital Region. (Artworks previously exhibited in the Photography Regional are not eligible.)
• There is no 'theme' to this exhibit.
• Entrants may submit up to three images, with the following restrictions: INCLUDING MATS AND FRAMES, THE  TOTAL COMBINED LENGTH AND WIDTH OF ALL THE SUBMISSIONS COMBINED CANNOT EXCEED 72” TOTAL, AND NO ONE DIMENSION CAN EXCEED 48”. • Save all files LASTNAME_firstname_TITLE
• All work MUST be ready to hang. All 2-dimensional works must be framed and ready to hang with a wire or sawtooth hanger at the time of drop-off. All work MUST be labeled. Please include name, title, and medium on the back side of the work. 
• Drop off for the 47th Annual Photography Regional Show will be from Noon - 4:00 PM on August 20 - 22, 2026 (Thursday - Saturday).
• The 47th Annual Photography Regional Show artwork pick up will be on November 3, 2026, and November 4, 2026, from Noon - 4:00 PM. ACG will not be responsible for pieces left after that date. All pieces left after that date will incur a $5.00 fee per day, and after 30 days the piece becomes property of the gallery.
• ACG will not accept registration via email. Please register online prior to the drop-off or register in person on drop off days. Artists may drop off up-to three ready-to-hang photographs on the dates listed above as long as they meet the stated requirements above. Any works not wired or otherwise ready to install will not be accepted. (We will measure all submissions upon drop-off)
• Please note: AI generated work will not be permitted or displayed for this exhibit. All submitted works must be original creations by the artist. If you have any questions, please contact Andrew at info@albanycentergallery.org
• The registration fee for ACG members is $30, and $40 for non-ACG members. Must be a current member through the entirety of the exhibition dates to receive ACG member rate. Payment will be collected in-person during artwork drop-off. We accept exact cash, check, or credit card payments at the gallery.

• ACG retains 25% of all art sales from the show; artists will receive 75% if their work is sold. Please price accordingly. Works may also be “Not For Sale” (“NFS”).
